Walker's story

　　Hello, Kind Human. I'm "Walker The Willing," as you can see in my blue eyes - wide and open, looking out at people and places. Ready as I am to learn new behaviors, I'm nervous, and sometimes enough to nip. I long to calm down and meet people in a snail-like fashion: ever so quietly, smoothly and slow. To that end, I'm looking for an experienced dog lover/expert to help. Are you that person? If so, you've got "Walker The Willing Student!" Once safe at home, we can play. I'll eat treats from your sweet hands and do fun things with you. Beware my hindquarters and back feet though. They're ever so sensitive! I have calmed lots lately, and know some basic commands. Still, sudden movements and noises jar me. Nervous around children, no way should they or small animals be near me.Tall and all, I'm capable of jumping a fence if alone outside and frightened. With the right person to love, I will be that dear and willing dog at your side, all those cold nights, for many years.
