　　Waffles is a male Labrador Retriever/Rhodesian Ridgeback mix puppy approximately 4 months old. He is a big boy, weighing in at a solid 22 pounds already. His estimated adult size should be around 65-75 pounds full grown. Waffles has a handsome red coat that is fuzzy and soft. His eyes are a deep amber in color and he has white markings on his chest and on the tips of his paws. Waffles is all puppy, round, jolly, and full of silly play. He is very people oriented and will follow his trusted caretakers everywhere, making sure you know he is available for play or petting should you have a few minutes (or hours). He loves to be fussed over and can handle lots of attention. Waffles would be great for an active family with children or an active person(s) who want a fun loving, outdoorsy dog to do things with. He is athletic and active and seems to be quite intelligent, picking up the ways of the household rapidly. Waffles is an eager participant in just about any activity and bounces around with a big puppy grin on his face. He seems to like water and a favorite activity is playing with and in his water dish.

　　Cute, but a wading pool might be better fun.

　　He likes to be underfoot until you reach down to give him a pat, and then he will bounce away to the next person for some loving. He is social and very affectionate. Waffles does know how to settle down and take his daytime naps and does not seem to have any separation anxiety if you need to leave the room for a bit. He loves treats and will take them gently from your hand. In fact, he loves food and never misses a meal, sometimes eating other canine friends meals as well.

　　Waffles is absolutely excellent with all other dogs big and small, but would be best matched with larger doggie friends since his play is vigorous and he likes to rough-house. He is learning how to walk on leash and will trot along without pulling. In public and crowded new places, like many young puppies, Waffles sometimes loses his nerve and then will need some comforting from his owners before moving on. He will grow out of this in no time as he is exposed to the big wonderful world. Waffles was rescued from a very high volume city shelter where he was brought in stray. He is a great young pup and will make an outstanding, fun and active pet and companion. Waffles is healthy and ready for his new forever home today!

　　Waffles adoption donation is $525 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, UTD on VACCINATIONS, DEWORMED, and DEFLEAED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.

　　Waffles is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteer, Rachel and is ready for his forever home.
