Violet's story

　　Hello, kind human. I'm Violet, which in flower language means "filled with love." That's me, ever so sweet inside yet with a tough stem outside. Living here, I've had problems expressing myself. At first I was scared and wanted to be alone. Then I met a young swain, a shepherd mix named Oreo. We act like the big kids we both are, rolling around the floor, playing tug-o-war. Oreo doesn't mind my worry lines and wrinkles! I enjoy chew toys and meeting friendly people, when introduced properly. Because my feelings still keep me on edge, I need to go home with someone who has worked with nervous dogs and understands me and my body language. I long to meet more new people, with your help. Once bonded, the Violet will be "filled with love." My leaning on your lap will mean that we're at home.
