For your viewing pleasure is this vintage Martin Fleetfoot bass drum pedal.
It's in great condition and ready to rock. The original beater was replaced with another vintage one and it is missing the original wing nut on the toe clamp. The
Martin Fleetfoot
pedal sports the original hinged footboard design that was adopted by Camco, Gretsch, and many other and made hugely famous by the venerable DW 5000 pedal. Martin Fleetwood pedals were built in Minneapolis in the 40s and 50s. They featured cast aluminum components, a hex rocker rod, an eccentric cam that provides some modest acceleration, and adjustable spring tension like you'd find on any modern pedal. Known for their smooth silent operation provided by a leather hinged heel plate, this one is still as quiet as ever with a smooth feel. This iconic piece of drum history is ready to play or be a proud part of your vintage collection. Enjoy!
