You are bidding on a 1947 Frank Holton Jazz Cornet finished in what appears to be a gold lacquer.  There is almost an antique green hue to the gold.  Simply gorgeous!I couldn't find a professional trumpet player to demonstrate the horn so I asked my (a bit tipsy mind you) Uncle Maurice to give it a go....steady on there fella...!  As you can see, he can't quite get started!Includes a Chet Baker sized 6C Bach Cornet Mouthpiece(keep in mind Chet played mostly trumpet) or was his a 6B?
