Description

Vintage Japanese Sake Tokkuri Carafe (#209) $20

Do you want to impress your friends at your next dinner party? If you do, serve them Sake in this beautiful vintage carafe. As they say, foods presentation can greatly influence the taste.

You are looking at a stunning vintage Japanese Tokkuri, generally used as a carafe or bottle to serve Sake. This is a unique handcrafted porcelain bottle with a stylish shape and a hand painted gold leafy rustic pattern base. Throughout the entire carafe is an eggshell crackled look, a unique distressed natural pattern. It also has an easy to pour gold rim design surrounded by classic Japanese writings; simple yet elegant.

In Japan, serving and toasting Sake is a sign of friendship, a symbol of hope, virtue, and new beginnings. So, follow the custom of the far-East and share their inspiration by all the things in life most worth celebrating and drink a toast to fortune, longevity, hopes, triumph and love. If youre not into Sake, this little carafe can also be used to serve small amounts of liqueurs, such as Chambord, Grand Marnier, Amaretto, and Drambuie, just to name a few.
