As best we can remember, this bicycle was a Christmas gift in the late 1950's or early 1960's. There is an oval metallic or foil-type label on the front that says:
The Westfield Mfg. Co.
Columbia
Westfield, Mass. U.S.A.
There are also remnants of a Columbia Torpedo label. The bell is rusty, but it works. It has an embossed design on top that looks a bit like a flower.
The bike was used and enjoyed and it has some dings, dents, scratches, and rust. The tires are soft. On the front tire, it says:
26 x 1.75
U.S. TYPE
INFLATE 45 POUNDS
NYLON CORD
MADE IN TAIWAN
