This gorgeous old hardback book is reprinted from Volume VII, Number 2 of "The Graduate Journal" in 1967. The intro is by Gordon Whaley and the book is magnificently printed and bound. It has stiff pages, the captions are printed in black ink and the book determines 6 & 1/4" x 9-1/8". There is no dustjacket, it is in outstanding condition. There are only 23 pages to this book and they contain color reproductions of Tom Lea's paintings, on loose plates, gone along with by captions and writings by D.H. Lawrence, Tom Lea in addition to others. The color plates in the book are: Toribio: Conquistador; Rio Grande; Unloading the First Cattle in North America; Feedcart for the Bulls; Texas Longhorns; Hills of Mexico; Word in the Night and The Deathless White Pacing Mustang.
