This Bernina 117 is all metal and runs super smoothly. It makes a beautiful straight and zigzag stitch as seen in the photos. It was originally in a treadle. I’ve included a small motor and foot pedal that I bought on eBay. The last photo shows when I had it attached to the machine. It worked pretty well despite the fit being a little “not perfect”. I prefer it in a treadle because it is so smooth and quiet. My intention was to put it in an industrial table with a servo motor because I think that would be perfect, but I never got around to that.It comes with extra bobbins, a knee bar I bought separately, some needles, and the motor/foot control combo. The zigzag foot on the machine is the only foot. With the end piece removed, it is about the same size as a Singer 201. I had it in a full sized bentwood case bottom for a while. For shipping I removed the end piece, as seen in the 2nd to last photo, and wrapped it separately to protect it. To put it back in place, there are two small screws underneath where it goes in the machine. Just slide it in and tighten the screws with the little screwdriver I included (bubble wrapped on the bed of the machine with the motor/foot control). The machine is bubble wrapped and securely boxed. That box is then surrounded by a few inches of bubble wrap in a bigger box. Knee bar and end piece are packed in the outside layer. It weighs 47 lbs and measures 27 x 15 x 18. Shipping and packing costs will be higher because of this. Thank you for looking, and Happy Holidays!
