Art Deco with Balletcore Aesthetic style. For those vintage decorators who follow trends, this pair of Original works by M. Devoe is trending BALLETCORE big time! Paintings of Stylized TROPICAL BIRDS in hues of soft pinks and flowing delicate feathers. The frame is also in a soft bush, tawny tone. Admirable Pink Herons, otherwise known as Reddish Egrets. Both paintings are in excellent condition. Signed by artist M. Devoe, who painted mostly tropical, water-wading, elegant birds in the 1940’s and 1950’s. A unique signature style of M. Devoe is they painted primarily on “Silverboard”. Silverboard has a soft silver hue. This enhances the lavishly long and colorful brushstrokes to appear more vibrant. A LOVELY SET for the collector of art deco, mid-century modern originals! A rare find. Framed in glossy finished wood. This is not the original frame.
