　　Back then they were reserving the Applause line for sale through ditribution. There is no mention of it being a Ovation because of that.

　　This is a fantastic classic with a cool story.... and unlike many of todays guitar..... It is made in the USA!!!

　　Guitar in great condition for age.

　　There are a few small vert cracks on top from getting a little dry at some point. (see pics)

　　Hey, it is 30 years old......They do not affect structure, playability or sound at all.

　　The bowl, neck joint etc is perfect!

　　This guitar sounds absolutely wonderful!!!
