This turntable is very rare. It was just serviced to include a replacement of a tonearm motor, (this is a common problem that should be addressed on all PL-570 turntables. The plastic gears on the tone arm motor break and the tone arm will not move. This has a new motor installed and has been fixed), adjusted and tightening of tonearm for auto return and play, stop mechanism adjusted, cleaned switches and micro switches with professional electronic cleaner, cue lever disassembled and repacked with silicon dampening fluid. It comes with Pioneer cartridge and Pioneer Head Shell the cartridge attaches to but needs a needle for this one. It works very good and has been checked using another cartridge and needle from another turntable I have. I can order you a needle or stylus as some people call them or you can get one online yourself. Wood base is not in perfect condition and has been touched up to look like wood and looks good. This would be a great wood base to veneer with a special exotic wood to really bring out the full look and would add several hundred dollars to the value of this unit if you wanted to go to the trouble but it does not effect the play. Nice clear dust cover with no cracks. Plays 45 and 33 with Quartz Synchro Pulse. Lots of features.
