This is a very heavy lamp that is in nice vintage condition. It has an antique brass color. The square base has a gracefully slanted treble clef as the arm of the lamp.

　　There are overall scattered nicks, dark speckles which may be tarnish, and small scratches but nothing major. I didn't attempt to polish it. There are sockets for 1 fluorescent bulb and the lamp works fine. The cord may be the original and I didn't find any cracks on it. There is a switch on the top of the lamp to turn it off and on. The base has a square iron disk underneath/inside it that gives it the weight needed for balancing near the edge of the top of the piano. The top of the lamp is adjustable up and down as well as side to side if you need to angle it. This would also make a great desk lamp for a musical person.
