Up for sale, vintage Vermona Formation 2 Analog Organ. Made in DDR (Soviet Germany)This one is a special to me as it was used in the 80s by a very famous band from my home country, and I got my hands on it by a very lucky coincidence. That’s why I put so much time and effort into completely restoring it from the ground up with better parts. After a couple of years, I decided to sell it as I need to clear up some space in my studio and this beautiful vintage instrument deserves to be played. Here is the list of upgrades done to these instruments:- Output jack replaced with Switchcraft input jack and Mojotone jack plate- Upgraded Power AC inlet- Upgraded fuse inlet with power Switch (110v/220v) and placed inside- Complete new enclosure with 10 mm plywood for sides and lid and 20 mm plywood for the bottom- Complete re-tolex with Mesa Boogie style tolex for the enclosure and Marshall style tolex for the top of the organ- 2 mm Aluminum isolation sheet inside the instrument- Replacement of old electrolytic caps with new high-quality caps (bought from Mauser)- Heavy-duty rubber feet on the bottom- Heavy-duty Handles and locks- DSP Sides have been replaced with custom real wood sides- Soft padded dust cover for the whole unitI removed a reverb tank from the unit, as it is absolutely useless for this instrument. All the knobs and faders work, but please consider that this is a rare and vintage piece of gear with flaws and dings. Make sure you lift the ground on your DI Box when using it, otherwise, it will hum like crazy. Here is the video (besides the one I have in the video section with the pictures) that made just for this auction with an actual instrument that is for sale. I used EHX Lester G for Rotary speaker effect (does not come with the unit) into Radial HD DI into my DAW. There is no ambient sound. Only Line DI Sound was used for this video:/watch?v=cnn1WGWkG2wI’m a US seller (and a US PayPal user) but am currently in Europe working on a project. So I will be sending it from where ever I’m at the moment in Europe. I pack well, so the instrument will be safe. Handling time might take a little bit longer, but I will do my best to ship it ASAP.Please, ask any questions before bidding as there will be No Returns!!!
