He is a 20th century American artist that painted still life and a large number of his art work was amazing detailed miniatures. This painting includes cauliflower, tomatoes, carrots, leek and a vase and a blue bowl. The frame is gilded gold tone wood with a burlap inner frame. The painting measures 7" by 5". This measures 11 3/4" x 9 5/8" including the frame. There is a clear signature on the lower right side. The coloring is rich and realistic. The back of the masonite board is marked Completely hand painted. The back of the frame is marked Made in Germany.
