The first year back for Thunderbird!!! In 2002 the Thunderbird came back to win back the hearts of people that yearned for a modern, yet classic inspired car! Ford used their resources to combine the ride quality of their Jaguar and Lincoln line to make the new Thunderbird a fun cruiser. They did a lot of subtle touches to the interior and exterior to help owners enjoy their car, regardless of the top was up or down! The optional hardtop comes with portholes, which was a nod to the original 1955 model. Plus Ford included a hard top stand with wheels that makes storing the hardtop when it's off a breeze! A 252hp V8 lies under the hood and gives a nice burble through factory dual exhaust! This particular Thunderbird has the Evening Black exterior paint with the optional Performance White hardtop! It is a Premium trim level, so you do get the 7 spoke chrome wheels as well. Inside you'll notice the midnight black interior is in good shape for its age. It does have the hardtop stand and tonneau cover in the trunk, as well as the torx removal tool for taking the hardtop off! It was traded in to us by a local gentleman who lived across the state line in Maryland and has owned several Thunderbirds over the years. It does have the correct 2002 key blades as well.
