The USB to 10/100 Mbps Ethernet Adapter is bus-powered, hence, it draws power from the USB port of the host PC and requires no external power supply. Simply plug in this new SMC2208USB/ETH, which uses Type A USB port, to your Laptop/Desktop's USB port and connect a Category 5 cable to the RJ-45 connector. You are now ready to connect and access network resources.
