Urie's story
"I lived with dogs in my previous home!"
"I find cats a little TOO interesting, so best to keep them away!"
"I lived with older kids in my previous home!"
Fifty-six pound Urie needs time---time to get to know you and to feel safe with you. This sweet, gentle girl is very shy and nervous with strange people and in strange places-she freezes in place when she's unsure of things. Urie might seem standoffish when you first meet her, but give her time, gentle pets and encouragement in a soft voice and after awhile you will have the most wonderful loving eyes gazing at you with affection---and with enough time and patience she will even show her playful side. She walks nicely on leash right next to you (slowly), but if something frightens her, she will stop and needs encouragement to keep going. Urie needs a calm home with adults and possibly some older children (but not young ones) where she will receive lots of gentle, positive interaction for her to feel safe and let her sweet, loving personality fully emerge.
