This is a stunning old cream and sky blue colored pottery bowl made by the Universal Pottery Company a long time in between 1934 - 1955. It stands 3" tall and is 9" across. There is one 3/8" chip in the glaze on the bottom rim which you just see when you lift it up. The cream color is mottled on the within and there is one hairline crack visible on the in. The glaze is crazed from age. All-time low is stamped "Protected by Design Patent No. 7564-65-65, other patents pending, oven-proof, Universal Potteries, Inc. Cambridge, O, National Brotherhood of Operative Potters, AFof L." I will certainly erase this ad when the bowl is sold.
