My story

　　Meet Unagi!Why hello there! My name is Unagi. And I am a male 1-year-old Cocker Spaniel/Retriever mix (best guess!) weighing 35 lbs. I'm not neutered yet, but I will be soon! I was rescued by a kind man off the street after I was badly hurt, and he brought me to the shelter in Ensenada, where TAP found me and brought me to the US. Now I'm awaiting my furever home! I am bathroom and crate trained. And not to mention, I also do well on a leash (since I love walks!).Do you want a cuddle buddy? Then Im your man. My foster parents say that I am a lovable, sweet boy who just wants hugs and scratches. Hugs? Yes, hugs! I love to jump and hug you tight. Since I am kennel trained, I know when to eat. Once I trust you, bathing me will be a breeze. I dont bark at all or whine. However, if I see a dog, I will want to say hi so I will let out a tiny bark. I love other doggos, little hoomans, and even cats! My energy is a bit all over the place. I will lay down and sleep and then ten minutes later I want cuddles! So, if you havent taken the hint... I LOVE cuddles and hugs! Something a little weird about me is I hate squeaky toys; I will run for my life if I hear one. I know Im a big goober, but one that will love you furever! I am the sweetest and most calming dog you will meet! I love to wink at my hooman (if Im feeling it), so I will keep you entertained with my quirks.Are you my furever home? I hope so! I am a mysterious breed that everyone always asks about, and my eyes tell a story that gets to your heart (I pawmise). My ideal home would have lots of grass, any size house is fine, as long as we go on walks or parks together. Families with little hoomans or other dogs will be okay. And patience to be able to train me a bit more will make me a happy boy. Oh, and I would be amazing as an emotional support dog as well!
