My story
Una will be turning 1 in Aug 2021. She is kenneled trained, potty trained, rides excellent in the truck. Though she has basic obedience she does jump on people, and will pull on the leash. She was surrendered because her owners stated that her size and breed didn't fit well with their family.
She is in need of more socialization with people,
she is a little shy at first with new people but once she knows you she is a real love! She has met a few dogs and will continue to be around them to make her less fearful with them. She came in with resource guarding and has begun training on that issue. It will be very important her future home understands her behavior and will continue her training so that she will gain more confidence. Because of her insecurities, homes without young children and other dogs is best. Without sufficient exercise, Malamutes can become rambunctious and bored, which they usually express by chewing and diffing.Una needs an owner who is comfortable with the breed and has knowledge of the breed will be best. Una is spayed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped.ALL adoptions are done face to face, we do not ship dogs out, adopters are responsible for travel if they live outside the Fairbanks area.
