UMBRA's story

　　05/07/18 Umbra came to the shelter because her owner could not house her anymore. Umbra grew up in an outdoor pen with a litter and she has been in her most recent home for one month. Umbra is very active and friendly once she gets to know you but she is frightened and sometimes may growl at strangers who she does not know well. Due to her reserved status, she may not do well in a home with children 10 or under. Umbra has been around other dogs and seemes to be able to coexist with them. Umbra is a huslia sled dog and is mushing and skijor trained. If you are looking for an active dog and you have patience to help a sweet dog come out of her shell, Umbra is thr girl for you.
