My story
Tye is a 2-year-old male Yellow Lab who must be neutered before he is adopted. He was brought to PAHS as a stray after he was found out in the county; and his owner never reclaimed him. Tye is a very handsome fellow! He is completely yellow (some say blond); and currently weighs 76 pounds so he is considered to be a large adult dog. You have always heard 'pretty is as pretty does'; Tye is not only handsome he is the best natured sweetheart we have ever seen. He is very friendly and outgoing; and gets along great with everyone at the shelter--both dogs and people! In fact, he is so laid back and sweet that our staff remarked he would make an excellent emotional support dog. Tye likes to be very near you; and for that reason, we do not think he would be good in a home with someone who is not steady on their feet or 'fall prone'. Labs are one of America's most popular breed and Tye is a perfect example of why. He is a good-looking boy who is super well behaved, very gentle, and such a wonderful dog. Tye is going to make an absolutely amazing family dog for some lucky adopter.Dog/puppy adoption fees are $120 and cat/kitten adoption fees are $50. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter certificate, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under 'special needs' our dogs have screened heart worm negative. May 20, 2022, 5:51 pm
