TX/Tito's story

　　Tito here, I was quite a handsome boy back in my younger years, I still feel I am quite handsome at 10 yrs. old. I belonged to this hunting camp that just leased me out to help the hunters that came to hunt, then they just put me back in a pen with my empty barrel as my house. I was rescued last November and discovered what it was like to live in a house with other dogs, kids and my own Foster Mom & Dad. It was wonderful, the love and affection. I would like to find my own forever family that would love to make me theirs forever, love me, spoil me and let me be part of a family that I missed out on the first 10 years of my life.

　　I am 45ish pounds, UTD on vaccines, neutered orange and white purebred handsome male. HW neg and one of the best boys you have ever met. I had a proheart injection, so in May I would either need another HW prevention injection or start on my monthly HW prevention pills. I am housebroken, crate trained, TV cuddlier, loving gentle companion and will even offer you my special kisses.

　　One thing I do get into trouble, because I have found a spot to hang on the fence and watch the deer, problem is I tumble over the fence at times and chase the deer or hurt myself tumbling over. I need a fence that will not let me be able to get up on it and hang to enjoy all that is on the other side. I get stiff at times, due to my hard life and well, falling over the fence just doesn't help! I had some teeth extracted and do need my dental kept up with.

　　From Foster Mom: Tito is a VERY laid-back Britt. When he first got here he was a bit shy, but he quickly figured out what it means to be loved on, he will nudge me for kisses and belly rubs! Now Tito follows me around the house and will sit by my side (or anyone's for that matter). He loves to play for short bursts. Tito sleeps in his kennel and loves it and loves his bed! He is more than happy to sleep in his kennel all day if you let him! He stretches out in his kennel and will not go outside until about 11am. He has never had an accident in our home and he quickly learned how to use the doggy door. He is great at taking snacks from your hand-he has the gentlest mouth. He is perfectly fine with other dogs- we have 4 others and he hasn't had any problems. He is great with kids- I have a 6-yr. old and 3 yr. old and he is great with them. He is a bit of a brit when it comes to roaming and pulling on a leash - He will pull you for a walk and an adventure, so no letting this old timer out the front door. I am positive that Tito will make a great addition to any family- he is the kind of dog that will gladly slide into either single family or big family.

The fee to adopt Tito is in El Paso, Texas is $200 to offset his vetting and to allow NBRAN to rescue more of these wonderful pets. Transportation can be arranged up 1400 miles with the adopter being responsible for the last 100 miles.
