TX/Maddy (Adoption Pending)'s story

　　My name is Maddy and I am an owner surrender that will be 2 yrs old in October. I was rescued when I was 6 mths old to a fabulous Foster Family who loved and played with me. They all thought they found me a wonderful home with children and a month later I had a new fur-sister named Baylee to play and keep me company. My fur-sis is my rock. We were locked in the closet for most the day and all night for 10 mths. My original Foster Family when I was surrendered grabbed my sister and I and disassemble my crate from the hall closet and tossed that mean old crate away. That tells you how wonderful my Foster Family is, they saved my sister too. I wont tell my Foster Family what happened to me, it is too scary to tell. I have been so afraid and was clinging to my sister. I have now come out of my shell and will come up to Foster Family and my Fur Foster siblings. I am still afraid but have come leaps and bounds to almost where I was before I was adopted the first time. My Foster Family lets me play outside and inside and very rarely crates me, which has made me so happy. (We were given up because they couldnt catch me in the back yard, as who would want to be locked up in the dark for all those hours, at least my sister was locked in the same crate with me.)

　　From Foster Family: Maddy is good with cats, dogs and children. Maddy is dependent on Baylee and must go as a pair. She is housebroken, loving, plays, comes when she is called, sit, stay, stop. Only problem is she can not be crated all day. She can be left out of the crate all day, but we are looking for a family where someone is home most of the day. She does need at least a 5 ' privacy fence. We do want to keep her within distance of the foster family. She is a loving beautiful sweet girl, who will give kisses and get in your lap. I am sure she will need adjusting time, due to her last experience.

　　UTD on vaccines, on HW prevention, HW neg and spayed. She is an Orange White 56 # Britt/Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever with web feet. Healthy and a sweet precious girl.

The fee to adopt Maddy in Sanger, TX is $300 to offset her vetting and to allow NBRAN to rescue more of these wonderful pets. Transportation can be arranged up 1400 miles with the adopter being responsible for the last 100 miles.
