My story

　　Hi, my name is Dudley! My foster parents call me “Dudley Do-Right,” but I haven’t had the name for very long. If you would prefer a different name that would be cool with me. I’m so handsome wouldn’t you agree? I’m around 5 years old, white/orange and 42lbs. I’ve been recently neutered, all up to date on my vaccines and I’m heartworm and tick disease free!  I am on HW/Flea prevention.  I was rescued from a shelter, so my fosters don’t really know my background. But I have been loved and cared for the last few months.

　　I’ve had foster Brittany brothers and sister to run around and play with. I get along really well with other dogs. We even get to share the same bed at night! Sometimes I growl when they invade my space but I’m getting much, much better. I do love a good cuddle. I will climb up on your lap if you let me. I’m pretty good on our walks. But I LOVE me a car ride. They are the best. I’m not a digger, a chewer, or a counter surfer but I can bark with the best of them. I love to vocalize at the neighbors or anybody at our front door. I’m chill with my foster brother, but I like to bark at his little rug rat friends whenever they come over. Foster Mom and Dad says I may need some behavioral training where that’s concerned. The talking box used to freak me out but I’m much better now. I’ve really gotten used to all of the inside noises and activities. I’m also a huge fan of the treats. I can still be a little hesitant when taking from my foster’s hand. I’ve been told I could use a little training. Still don’t know the command “sit” or “down.” Nor do I like that kennel thing. 

　　But I have so much potential! What do you think? Don’t you want me?

　　Needs:  A physically secure fence. Needs patience with men. He will love you but needs to know you will not hurt him.  Once he knows that he will be in your lap and be your baby.

　　Transportation can be arranged up 1400 miles with the adopter being responsible for at least the last 100 miles.
