My story

　　Twizzle:

　　I am listed as a Chihuahua, but my foster family thinks I am a Chiweenie.  I am a loving girl and though I am small, I am not a barker.  I love to sit on a lap or burrow under my favorite blanket and sleep well in my crate at night. I can be shy at first but warm up and love to wrestle with my favorite stuffed animal. I love to run and zoom around the yard. My favorite way to take long walks is in a purse. I have a foster cat and we are getting to know each other and co-exist well.  I am potty trained for outside and have used a pad inside. If you are looking for a sweet small dog that loves to be a companion and close, I could be your best friend.

　　All of our pets are up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm tested if over 6 months old and will be spayed or neutered before being allowed to go home. 

　　Unfortunately, we don't always know the background of each dog. Some were dumped, abandoned in an empty house, left tied to a tree, picked up by animal control as strays, or simply unwanted by their owners. Please take into consideration that owning a pet is a 10+ year commitment and discuss with all members of your family before submitting an application to adopt. 

　　If you have already filled out an online adoption application with our organization in the last 6 months you do not need to fill out another application. Please call or email us to schedule an appointment.
