　　The Humane Society of West Alabama's cat adoption center at 1515 Veterans Memorial Pkwy is open Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Appointments are available for other times with advance notice. We're all-volunteer and need at least a couple of days of advance notice to schedule appointments.

　　The Humane Society of West Alabama's "Home for the Summer" campaign aims to find homes for as many pets as possible! During the months of June & July 2013, we've reduced adoption fees to only $45 for all adult cats 1 year and older! Help us make this their best summer ever - by winning a loving family!

　　This sweet lady is Tickle, a medium-haired female Tuxedo, around 2-4 years of age. Tickle is a quiet, gentle young lady, and loves human company. She should be fine around children who can handle her gently. We think she'll be the perfect quiet companion cat! She already loves lounging around and creating forts out of empty boxes. Tickle has adjusted well to other friendly cats, but we believe she'd do just fine as an only pet, too. She's really mainly interested in finding a home with someone she can bond with! Please stop in at our cat adoption center or contact us to meet Tickle!

　　Negative for FIV/FeLK, current on vaccinations and spayed.

　　Our flat adoption fee is $75, a fee to help defray a fraction of veterinary costs and general care expenses. Our adoptable animals have routine vet visits, and are as healthy as possible as soon as they are in our care. Vet records are provided to adopters. Read the descriptions thoroughly and note the specific personalities or special criteria we recommend (some are not good around kids, other cats, dogs, etc.). We cannot accept applications from minors or legal dependents. Read up on our adoption process . Then, if you feel your home might be the right forever home and you would like to adopt this cat, submit an online application form.
