　　The Humane Society of West Alabama's cat adoption center at 1515 Veterans Memorial Pkwy is open Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Appointments are available for other times with advance notice. We're an all-volunteer group and need advance notice to schedule appointments. We cannot accept same-day appointments. To adopt, we need to receive a completed application (link found below). Some animals may be in foster homes. Before choosing a pet, we recommend meeting the pet or asking questions first. This formally dressed little girl is Sweet Pea, a beautiful female medium-haired Tuxedo kitten who lives up to her name! Sweet Pea is just around 6 months old, and is a loving girl! She can be a little reserved at first, but will love having someone to bond with. She'd be an excellent companion for a person or another friendly and easygoing cat. She should be good around gentle children, but would do better around older kids. We don't know how well she would handle a dog of any size, but we don't recommend her around large dogs.
