Tuxedo - Lucy - Medium - Young - Female - Cat
The Humane Society of West Alabama's cat adoption center at 1515 Veterans Memorial Pkwy is open Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Appointments are available for other times with advance notice. We're all-volunteer and need at least a couple of days of advance notice to schedule appointments. To adopt, we need to receive an application (link to the online version found below). Some pets could be in foster care. For information on a specific animal, please visit our adoption center or email us at [email removed]! This very beautiful young lady is Lucy, a medium-haired female Tuxedo. Her soft fur feels more like a rabbit's. Lucy is 1 year, 2 months of age (as of 11/24/2013). Lucy is a gentle, sweet little lady! She loves attention from people! She does well around other cats, but we've noticed she prefers the company of people. She'd be a wonderful companion for another kitty or a person. She should do well with kids who can handle her gently, but we do not recommend her around large dogs. Please stop in at our cat adoption center or contact us to meet Lucy! Negative for FIV/FeLK, current on vaccinations and spayed. Our flat adoption fee is $75, a fee to help defray a fraction of veterinary costs and general care expenses. Our adoptable animals have routine vet visits, and are as healthy as possible as soon as they are in our care. Vet records are provided to adopters. Read the descriptions thoroughly and note the specific personalities or special criteria we recommend. We cannot accept applications from minors or legal dependents. Read our adoption process here: /howtoadopt.html. Then , if you feel your home might be the right forever home and you would like to adopt this cat, submit an online application form: /formsinfo.html Posted 2/24/13, updated 11/25/13.
