My story

　　Tutti was very mistreated by her previous owners; they did not teach their child how to respect animals and allowed the child to torment Tutti her whole life.When Tutti finally growled at the child, they blamed Tutti and turned her into a kill shelter. She is very timid and untrusting of humans and who can blame this lovely lady? You can see the fear in her eyes?! She is not a fear biter (not a biter at all) but is simply fearful of everything and everyone until she knows she can trust you.It took weeks to trust her foster and she crawled into the fosters lap, just to make the foster cry with happiness. Tutti had finally trusted her! She trusts the dogs in the foster home, even the standard poodle that scared her so much as first, but she is in love with the shih tzu there and they play all the time and snuggle. Tutti needs someone at home 90% of the time so she knows she is safe forever, someone who will take the time to teach her that all is well in her world, finally.No children under age 12 and must know how to treat animals with the respect they deserve. No dogs over 20 lbs, since she is under 15 lbs.If you work from HOME, that would be ideal or part time outside the home, retired with no small children coming to visit to scare her.Perhaps she would be fine if you went back to the office later on, after she became less afraid and trusted your life together and your other dog (her new best friend?!) was there to snuggle with?I just don't want her spending her days home alone
