My story
08/31/21 12:14 Turok was surrendered to the shelter because he was not allowed where his owner was housed. Turok was sceptical of our staff at first but has warmed up; he appears to have some stranger danger and may take time to learn to trust new people, so his new owner should be an advocate for him when out and about, but his previous owner indicates that he is loving with his family and does well with babies, children and the adults he knows. Turok is said to typically do well with other dogs, although he can be selective with some, so introductions to new canine friends should be done slowly and at his speed. Turok is said to not like cats, so we are requiring that he go to a home without kitties. Turok is said to be housebroken.
He can be kenneled but his previous owner indicated he will get out, so if his new owner plans on kenneling him they should find a more secure style kennel. Turok is said to know the basic commands and rides well in a car and generally minds well. Turok is a smart and discerning young man who is looking for his intellectual match!
If you have any questions or would like to adopt TUROK, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
