　　Tucker and his feline companion Jill were relinquished when their owners moved. Losing your humans and your home is hard, especially on a senior cat. It is confusing and sad for the cat. They are subjected to a constant barrage of alarming stimuli, including noises, strange smells, intrusions from unknown humans, close confinement, and the often-frightening sight and smell of other unfamiliar cats - as well as loss of all familiar social contacts and all past comforts and amusements. But from the beginning, Tucker let it be known that he loves people and he adapted to his new surroundings quickly.

　　Tucker is quite the interactive boy. He comes out and meows hello to visitors and solicits pets and attention. He is very attentive and loves human companionship. When he starts to play, you would never know he is an older cat

　　he chases and catches cat toys quickly and expertly.

　　Feline lovers will really savor the warm, loving demeanor that this wonderful cat will bring into their life. Older and wiser and full of good loving

　　You can meet Tucker at the Coronado Animal Care Facility. The facility is open daily between 9:00 am and 11:30 am and 12:30 pm and 4:00 pm (except major holidays). It is located at 1395 First Street at the south end of the Ferry Landing complex.

　　If you are interested in adopting Tucker, you must first come in and meet him. If it seems like a good match, the next step is to complete a cat adoption application. Cat adoption applications are available at the facility or cat adoption applications may be completed online. A PAWS of Coronado Cat Adoption Counselor will contact you within 24-48 hours to discuss your application.
