Trudy's story

　　Meet Trudy! Trudy came to us from a high-volume shelter in Philadelphia. She was originally found as a scared stray and brought in by police. She walks nicely on leash with a harness, enjoys being pet, likes to play (especially with squeaky toys), takes treats gently and even knows sit! This girl was likely someone's dog but sadly noone came for her, so we scooped her up to help her find a new home! Our staff has nothing but amazing things to say about this girl: she is sweet, fun, and just an overall gem! She loves to snuggle in her bed and romp around when it's time to play outside. At this time, Trudy is still learning about being around other dogs and has not yet been introduced to cats or kids. We will update as we learn more, but in the meantime, ask to spend time with Trudy today!

　　Trudy is available and able to have applications submitted once you've met. All animals from DHA are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped prior to adoption.
