My story

　　Hi my name is Trucka and I love humans so much that I want to be the only dog in the home. When my caretakers come into my kennel I am very polite. I will approach you and wait for you to come down to my level and then press my head into your chest. I look into your eyes as if to say “this is exactly what I wanted”. I am a sweet girl, however I would do best with a confident handler. I need some work on my interpersonal skills with other dogs. I used to be a momma dog when I first came to the rescue. Now that my pups are older I am ready to start the next chapter of my life in my forever home.

　　All of our pets are up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm tested if over 6 months old and will be spayed or neutered before being allowed to go home. 

　　Unfortunately, we don't always know the background of each dog. Some were dumped, abandoned in an empty house, left tied to a tree, picked up by animal control as strays, or simply unwanted by their owners. Please take into consideration that owning a pet is a 10+ year commitment and discuss with all members of your family before submitting an application to adopt. 

　　If you have already filled out an online adoption application with our organization in the last 6 months you do not need to fill out another application. Please call or email us to schedule an appointment.
