My story

　　I'm like a fine wine, aged to perfection. I'm Trooper, a classy salt n pepper friend and I'm ready to spend my retirement with you. I came to High Country Humane because I wasn't getting the care and love I needed. I'm just focused on where I'll spend my golden years. I should tell you a bit about myself. I'm as gentle as I am polite.I walk on the leash well, and love all the comforts I'm provided and like to keep them intact! One of my favorite things to do is napping in that sunny spot on the floor. I've previously lived with dogs and we peacefully coexisted.

　　If I sound like your next pal, then come meet me! I want to show you how laid-back four-legged living is done. I have plenty of love left to give because love doesn't keep track of years. Come by High Country Humane to meet me!

　　Adopting with High Country Humane means your new pet is fixed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. We register that microchip (FREE!) and provide a free health exam with each adoption. Please bring a leash and collar for your new pet or plan to purchase a set at the shelter for $5 each. The shelter is open 11-5 PM, 7 days a week. We look forward to seeing you!
