This is my much-loved and gently-used King 3B Silver Sonic trombone.  It plays beautifully, sounds beautiful and looks beautiful.  It will complement and display the skills of professional artists, as well as ambitious amateur performers.  It will allow the next owner to sound and look their best.  I am selling it because life has gotten in the way of my practicing and performing. This may be a one-of-a-kind trombone, serial # 483586.  Not only does it have the relatively rare Silver Sonic sterling silver bell.  But additionally, the F Attachment can be easily removed, and replaced with a straight section of brass tubing -- to suit the performance situation, whether it be jazz, symphony, whatever. The horn is in superb condition -- no dings, dents or scratches.  It does have some age-related deterioration of  lacquered surfaces.  The visible portion of the inside of the bell is finished with a gold wash. The slide is smooth and fast.  The slide contact surfaces show no evidence of wear. The original coffin-style case is included.  It is in very good condition and provides serious protection for the horn.  The mouthpiece is a Vincent Bach 7C. The trombone is located in Aiken, SC.
