　　Throughout this summer 2012, the Humane Society of West Alabama wants to increase my chances at finding my forever home by reducing my adoption fee! Email my rescue group or stop in to meet me!

　　The Humane Society of West Alabama's cat adoption center at 1515 Veterans Memorial Pkwy is open Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Appointments are available for other times with advance notice. We're all-volunteer need at least a couple of days of advance notice to schedule appointments.

　　Ziva, named after the character from NCIS, is an absolutely gorgeous female short-haired Tortoiseshell, approximately 3 years old. Her birthday is in June! She's a little shy at first with strangers, but she warms up quickly! She would love to get to know you! More socialization without competing for it will also bring her out more.

　　Ziva is a quiet, sweet and gentle lady who is looking for a companion. She wants to be part of a loving family, and she would just fit right in and return all the love! Ziva has been very gentle with children, but too much fast movement and constant loud noises can make Ziva - and any other cat - nervous. But she's adjusted to the constant bustling of the cat adoption center, so don't underestimate her! Ziva is a very sweet and funny young lady! She loves fresh laundry, and loves to hide inside pillowcases or to crawl between sheets! She even has a neat trick - she knows how to flip tall pet beds to crate a kitty fort! She always leaves us guessing what she'll do next! She's in love with any kitty cube or condo we bring in, because she loves tall places to perch and watch over everyone! Please come visit our cat adoption center to meet Ziva!

　　Negative for FIV and FeLK, current on vaccinations and has been spayed.

　　Our adoption fee is temporarily reduced to only $50, a fee to help offset a fraction of the vet costs. Our adoptable animals have routine vet visits, and are as healthy as possible as soon as they are in our care. Vet records are provided to adopters. Read up on our adoption process .
