　　The Humane Society of West Alabama's cat adoption center at 1515 Veterans Memorial Pkwy is open Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Appointments are available for other times with advance notice. We're all-volunteer and need at least a couple of days of advance notice to schedule appointments. To adopt, we need to receive an application (link to the online version found below). She's a young adult, maybe 1-2 years old. She weights only 6 lbs., and we believe she is full-grown at a petite size. Rayna is a mellow and affectionate young lady. She's calm, and does well around other calm cats. She enjoys having people around to give her attention! She is laid-back, but not necessarily lazy - she does enjoy window-watching and climbing to favorite perches. She socializes well around other cats, as long as she's allowed adjustment time and a little patience to get used to another cat. Rayna should do well around older children, but we aren't sure how she'd handle dogs. Please stop in at our cat adoption center or contact us to meet Rayna! Negative for FIV/ FeLK and current on vaccinations and spayed. Our flat adoption fee is $75, a fee to help defray a fraction of veterinary costs and general care expenses. Our adoptable animals have routine vet visits, and are as healthy as possible as soon as they are in our care. Vet records are provided to adopters. Read the descriptions thoroughly and note the specific personalities or special criteria we recommend (some are not good around kids, other cats, dogs, etc.).
