Meet Tootsie! Tootsie, named for her beautiful brown, candy colored coat, dreams of being home for the holidays... she had the same dream last year too.

　　Tootsie is a grateful soul and so happy to be alive. She had all but given up on the cruel deck shed been dealt in life up until a little over a year ago.

　　When Tootsie came to rescue it was an answer to her prayers.

　　Second Chance Kitty discovered and rescued her from an awful hoarding situation along with 14 other cats. Tootsie was pretty sick with an upper respiratory infection and malnutrition.

　　Shes thrived in foster care where she finally knows safety and love.

　　Shes literally a changed kitty and has grown very fond of her evening treats her foster mom gives her and her foster friends. Tootsie is estimated to be between six to seven years young and isnt your typical tortie. She still loves to play and is frisky at times too. She doesnt like her backend rubbed as it causes overstimulation and makes her annoyed. She loves being pet on her head and loves to lay by her people and is an awesome cuddler. Shell take a nap on your lap all day if you let her.

　　Mature or older children and adults would be the best fit for Tootsie.

　　Shes pretty mellow and low key but enjoys kitty friends to play with here and there. She does like to have space enough to retreat and relax away from other animals when she chooses like in a quiet room from time to time. Respectful well mannered dogs are fine, so long as they don't pester her. She likes spending time in her catio at her foster moms house too where she can see and feel the outdoors but is safe and sound. Tootsie is missing a few teeth and prefers canned food to dry, but will eat dry and also her treats!

　　She is looking to find her forever home and a family to spoil her till the end of her days. Tootsie is a very loving kitty, with a great disposition and will make an excellent addition to the right family.
