My story
My name is Tom, and I know, I'm a pretty big cat. Everyone loves that about me, but once they find out I have FIV, they no longer take an interest. Doesn't bum me out or anything, I like my friends here.I have made quite a few since I have been here at VAC since 2015 but they all come and go over time. Anyways a quiet home would be better for me, and possibly with another cat who is also FIV+. I've been around dogs before, but I keep my distance because even though I'm big, they're a lot bigger. So a home without them would be a lot better. I'm hoping wherever I land in a home has access to a nice window I can look out of. We have an outdoor patio here that's enclosed, but cats who are FIV+ are required to be indoor only. Just so there isn't a possibility of us infecting those who don't have it. I'm a big cuddler when I get to know you a little, I can be shy at first but I get used to people real quick. But, one thing they all try and I don't like is when they try to pick me up. I know I'm big and it's tempting, but I would much rather you not try it at all. Other than that, I feel like I could be just the perfect at for your home.To adopt me, please visit valleyanimal.org/adoption-info/ to download the Pre-Adoption Application and email it to [email protected] to make an appointment to meet me!
