Tom's story

　　My name is Tom, and I"m a really, really shy boy. I might run from you at first, but if you give me some time I am the sweetest boy. I love to be pet and scratched. I'm mostly a couch potato who just wants to be near you. I'm so good with other kitties that they use me at the shelter to help make new arrivals feel comfortable! I just love snuggling with them,

　　Background: I have been at the shelter for a majority of my life. I was so shy at first that I didn't even let most people touch me! But the shelter workers have worked with me a lot, so now I'm more comfortable.
