Toby's story
Toby is a graduate of our Companion Dog 1 Class! Take the time to meet this big man on campus and he can show you some of his academics. They include thorough knowledge of toy play. But he learned how to "sit" on cue pretty well and with a treat in hand, he even can nail a "down." One of our dedicated volunteers has been taking Toby to Companion Dog classes to keep his mind nimble and engaged. Toby is an adorable, big, goofy dog who has lived with kids in his previous home. Older kids might be a good match again, but be aware, he's a big player. He's been great with our volunteers who say "he would be a lap dog if allowed." We say allow it! Toby has been on group walks when volunteers hike the hills of Sonoma County. He's a bit of an over eager greeter but once the super sniffer investigation is over, it's game time. NO kitties for this fellow. They are way too much fun to chase!
