*TITO's story
Tito was dropped off at the shelter with no history and no paperwork, so very little is known about him. Tito seems to be a fairly typical Husky, full of energy and go. Upon his arrival at the shelter he was kept outside in the dog yard and appears to be familiar with using a dog house, so may have been an outside/working dog in his past life. Tito has behaved nicely towards his tenders and seems to be fairly outgoing and social, however, he may have limited ''pet-dog'' experience and his new owners will need to be vigilant about keeping him contained or leashed, since if he gets away he may not come back. Tito has also behaved nicely towards his canine neighbors out in the dog yard and is a good eater! It is likely that Tito has never been around cats, kids, or small animals, so caution should be used if attempting to introduce him to any of the above. Tito is still young and his new owners should expect that he will need a fair amount of exercise and mental stimulation to prevent him from engaging in any destructive behaviors when left to his own devices. It is possible Tito has skijoring or mushing skills, and if not, he may be a good candidate for learning! At the very least Tito should go to an active home that will enjoy exploring the great outdoors with him. Tito is not an ''apartment dog'' and will not do well kenneled for long periods of time or left loose to entertain himself. He may also have limited to no indoor dog skills, including housebreaking, so please consider your lifestyle before asking to meet this handsome guy!
