My story
SPECIAL NEEDS KITTENS!
Tiny and Carlo are two wonderful kittens with Cerebellar Hypoplasia who’re looking for the perfect home together. Tiny is a sweet and gentle house tiger who enjoys playing and loves to cuddle every chance she gets! Carlo is curious playful purr-machine and expert cuddlier, just like his best girl Tiny. Carlo and Tiny would do best in a home with a dedicated and loving cat person that is home often. These little love bugs may need assistance with positioning for meals and some extra towel baths to stay clean, as they gain more abilities and strength. CH kittens will get stronger as they grow, helping them stand up and lean more when eating and using the litter box.
During their first year, they’ll require more frequent monitoring and a small, easy to clean space to keep them safe. While it’s likely they’ll never master climbing or jumping, most CH cats overcome their limitations and find their own way to navigate the world. Cats with Cerebellar Hypoplasia live long fulfilling and happy lives. Theses adorable felines have so much love to give and wont let their wobbly nature keep them from loving you to the fullest.
Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH) or "wobbly cat syndrome", is a developmental condition in which the cerebellum of the brain fails to develop properly. The cerebellum is the portion of the brain that controls fine motor skills, balance, and coordination. The condition is not painful or contagious. There is no treatment for cats diagnosed with this condition because it is due to the brain failing to develop properly. Most kittens with cerebellar hypoplasia will live a normal lifespan and can learn to adapt.
Tiny and Carlo are being fostered in Longmont.
