Tinker, who is about 5 years-old and weighs around 6 lbs., is a Chihuahua mix. Despite all she has been through, this little girl loves to cuddle and be near her human! When Tinker first came to UAF, her eye was injured and her teeth were in such bad shape that they actually broke her jaw. Her eye was removed and her jaw was repaired, and she's doing great! However, Tinker will need follow up exams with our vet every three months to keep an eye on her jaw. (These
appointments for her jaw will be covered by UAF.) She also will need wet food for her lifetime. Tinker is house trained and gets along with other dogs. She needs a quiet home and no rough play due to her jaw.
Our adoption fee of $125.00 helps cover expenses (vaccinations, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue.
UAF does not ship our adoptables out of state and to ensure the best fit, UAF conducts a home visit to meet other pets and verify a safe, secure yard.
