My story
The most wonderful thing about Tigger is Tigger’s a wonderful thing!
Tigger is guessed to be a 6 years young Boxer/Pittie mix who weighs about 57 pounds.
This sweet and cuddly
boy needs a forever home. We call him our “chameleon dog” because he is happy in a lot of settings. Before our other foster dog got adopted, Tigger was able to match his energy and play with him. After he was adopted and left our home, Tigger has readjusted to the calmer energy of our pack, and is happy being a calm, easy-going dog around the house. He is dog, cat, and kid friendly (a rarity!), but would prefer a home with a female dog; or submissive and playful male. He sleeps on a dog bed all night long, is known to only chew on dog bones, is house trained and knows how to use a dog door. He's also good in the car and wonderful on a leash (no pulling!). Tigger loves to "talk" and to be petted. He's learning what it's like to be a family pet and companion. He’s very cuddly and sweet with children. He LOVES playing with his foster brother Drew, a Great Dane/labrador retriever.
This sweet boy was rescued from an owner who was moving and didn't want to pay the pet deposit for him. She was planning on euthanizing him that week. Luckily, Big Bones found out about this injustice and one of the volunteers drove down to Texas to save this handsome guy. He arrived with dermatitis on his back and tail, and a spot behind each chair. He also has a yeast infection on his chest. Both are being treated with medications, and are not infectious to dogs, cats, humans, or anyone.
Come and meet this handsome boy at his foster home in Fort Collins!
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Tigger, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
