This is a lovely stained glass lampshade of an actual Tiffany Design. This light shade is one of the most popular Tiffany lamps of perpetuity - Waterlilies. They are discovered in fresh, still waters throughout the temperate and warm areas of the world. They vary in color from white, pink or blue and are sometimes quite aromatic. The vulnerable temporal charm of the aquatic flower typically lasts however a short 3 days, so protect it as Tiffany performed in the creative medium of a discolored glass lampshade. This pattern repeats 3 times and is built on a styrofoam Worden Lamp Form. This lovely lampshade has almost 600 pieces of thoroughly hand cut tainted glass that has been foiled, connected to form with glass head pins, soldered, patinaed, waxed and buffed to a stunning luster. It's rounded off with a 4" perforated vase cap to enable heat to run away. The circumference of the shade is 16" and stands 24" tall on the Prairie Style lamp base that's doned with a rich hand scrubed dark antique brass surface. The glass made use of in this lampshade includes glass from a few of the world's most reknowned and earliest producers of discolored glass such as: Opalescent & Wispy glass from Spectrum, mottled & bullseye glass from Uroboros, Kokomo & Wismach and last but not least, opalescent glass from Youghiogheny Glass in Pennsylvania. I have nearly 200 hours wrapped up in the building of this lovely lampshade. This has not been standardized in Mexico, rather each specific piece of glass was particularly chosen, hand cut, foiled, put & soldered by me. This lamp would make a lovely wedding, birthday, anniversary or Christmas gift and likewise a gorgeous heirloom. $800 or "Best Reasonable Offer".
