THUMPER's story
Thumper was brought to the shelter because his owners could no longer take care of them due to having too many dogs. Thumper has lived his life in rural Alaska outdoors. He is not house broken and does not know how to bide his time when indoors. Thumper''s previous owners described him as a `good outside dog, loves to go out country & run`. Thumper is all grown up, however he can still learn new tricks like basic obedience and how to not potty inside! He is very playful and loves treats! Thumper will be a great companion for a family that enjoys outdoor adventures!
UPDATE: Thumper was returned to the shelter after 2 days in his most recent home because he bit one of the family''s children (a bone was involved). Thumper''s most recent owner states that he is jealous of babies and aggressive towards slightly older children and should go to an adult only home.
