Thumper's story

　　**Thumper is currently being fostered in HOUSTON TX. He is available for out-of-state adoption as well to the perfect family. His adoption fee (for out of state adopters) is $495 which covers his transport to his new family, a travel kennel, and health certificate. He is fully vetted, neutered and microchipped.** Thumper is 6-8 yrs old; he weighs 10 lbs What can we say about this little guy? Thumper has won the hearts of everyone who meets him. He is calm, quiet, gentle and an expert level snuggler. His most favorite thing in the world is to be held and he will bury his head in your neck and lean into you while you pet him ? for as long as you?ll let him. He loves cuddling in your lap too! He LOVES his blanket and will often cover himself up when he?s cold ? it?s the cutest thing! He lives in a foster home with several other dogs and does fine but he doesn?t enjoy them rough-housing or jumping around and will leave the room when the dogs get too energetic. He will play bitey-face with another dog his size when they are together but once the other dogs try to join in, he will stop and move away. He will take naps with other dogs who are being quiet, especially in front of the fireplace or space heater. His perfect home would either have no other dogs or quiet, calm, small dogs that are as chill as he is. Thumper is housetrained and crate trained. He rarely barks and just wants to be with people. He recently had his teeth cleaned and while his face is very grey, his eyes are very clear so the vet is not sure how old he is exactly. Visit to download an application. SPECIAL NEED: Thumper has a minor heart murmur. It does not require treatment at this time. It does not seem to bother him one bit. As he ages, he may need heart medication to maintain his quality of life. Thumper has not met any cats or kids so we have no info on how he is with either. However, due to his small size, he would not be the best fit for a home with small children.
